About

Living & Dying is a companion for life review, spiritual preparation, and end-of-life reflection. It is inspired by the teachings in The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying by Sogyal Rinpoche, which draws from the ancient Tibetan wisdom of the Bardo Thodol.

This app makes those teachings accessible in a modern, secular, and deeply human way.

Why this exists

We have pushed death to the margins. This avoidance comes at a cost. When death does arrive, we find ourselves unprepared, frightened, and alone. This tradition offers a different way: to look at death directly, to prepare with care, and to use impermanence as a catalyst for living more fully.

What this is not

This is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or spiritual advice. It is not affiliated with any religious institution. It is simply a tool — a quiet space for reflection, preparation, and connection with what matters most.
